If a customer gets an issue with any of your product and reports you regarding the same via a "Contact us" form, you will receive an email regarding the data filled by the customer. Now, either you will reply to him when you will read his query or once the issue is resolved. In both cases, much time can be consumed and the customer might get frustrated with all the wait.
As a solution to this issue, the customer can receive an instant reply regarding the response wait time. But, native Magento does not allow an option to send an instant reply to the customer.
As an answer to this query, we developed the extension "Smart Autoresponder" for Magento 1. This extension will allow the merchant to send an automated response to the customer as soon as the query form is received. This automated instant reply informs the customer that his request has been received successfully and provides an approximate time by when the customer can expect a response from the merchant.
The ‘Smart autoresponder’ Magento 1 extension is integrated with the ‘contact us’ form by default. But as per your request, we can integrate the extension with other custom forms as well.
The most important benefit of this extension is 'Customer Satisfaction'.
When the customer knows that his request has been received, and gets an approximate time frame by which he can expect a response, he will be more patient about the wait.
